There isnt a marking as far as i know.
What i did was. I used the tube placed it in the water...then raised it untill the pump started. I used a zip tie around it to mark where the water lvl would be. I then used an old mag glas cleaner and zip tied the wet side of the magnet to the tube. Then i can move the tube from the outside
I suppose i can take fotos but you get the idea.
