I have had 2 running for several months. I noticed a leak. It was coming from the rubber elbows. 2 were split where they connect to the reactor. I also noticed the rubber was breaking down. I am lucky I noticed this before I had a catastrophic flood. I emailed the company. I got a reply in a couple hours. It seems they are aware of the problem with rubber elbows made in 2012. The cracking and splitting is due to an improper formulation by the molder. They are replacing them for me with new ones that will not split. If anyone else is using this reactor with the rubber elbows provided, keep an eye on them. If you notice them breaking down, replace them.

I bought one of these last year and I hated those rubber elbows. They are not sturdy at all.

This is what they look like. They were a little flimsy but it was a good seal or so I thought.
