Mostly because i want the tanks lights to be on when i can enjoy it. And off when im not at home or sleeping.
Id hate to have a 6on 6 off repeat when im there at home and the tanks lights go off.
Plua i think in complete darkness at night the fish sleep.
My wrasse would hate to take a nap mid day

Ditto i'd hate to be home and lights off its bad enuf on the weekends watching some Goldrush and having a bloody mary and lights dont come on till 11.00 .let us know how it works out 4 ya
