i have diy led from rapidled with their controler ( which i hate) any thoughts on Typhon LED Controller?????? good price and more control....

Do you have the PWM controller from Rapid? This is a good upgrade,just make sure you buy the complete kit with program download, very easy to wire and setup. I use this controller on my leds.

The typhon is nice and easy to setup, but the lack of an enclosure sucks.

Ive got the Typhon running 2 channels on a 14+14 LED setup, both channels dialed in to about 700mA. For some reason the LEDs dont fire up until around 10% on the controller, but it does a great job with PWM and you can definitely see it adjusts in 1% increments during testing.
No enclosure does suck, and its not really FULLY programmable out of the box, you can only tell it how long it should ramp up to the preset max, then it will ramp back down over the same period of time in the evening. Does not work well if you want to have say, 10% blue channel from 6am to 10am before it ramps up to max. For simple dimming control thou, it does work well if you dont need more than 4 separate timers.

yes i have pwm but now i will definitely switch ty guys. and enclousure i can come up with something
