Actually the problem is listening to the wrong people who think they know more than they really do. Plus the fish I keep buying is from members here who have no idea of age of fish and have dubious fish experience. Shame on you for saying such nasty things, especially when I have more experience at fish keeping than you do. I've had tanks before most of you on this site have been born. The pump I bought came from one of you, the skimmers, the fish etc. You're half right, it is the people on this site but it's not me buying, it's you selling half sickly livestock and broken down equipment.
Seriously, after EVERYTHING, this is your response? Your blatant disregard for any real help mixed with your blatant disregard for the livestock you put in your tank shows that time does NOT equal experience. I have been breathing for 24 years, and you longer, but you're no better at it than I.
If you want our help and our opinion, then ask for it, but don't decide when you don't like what we have to say that somehow WE are the badguys. From day one everything is an excuse as to why you can't fix this or that, or you're injured, or you're sick, which are all incredibly valid reasons not to get something done, but don't come crying to us then when everything hits the fan like it does OVER AND OVER AGAIN.
You can throw all the blame on others in here, as if somehow we have poisoned your tank or hijacked your equipment, but the rest of us know the truth: You're not ready/prepared for a tank this size.
That's not saying anything negative about your fishkeeping, but a massive tank requires ten times as much effort and time as the water volume.
We have TIME AND TIME again given you answers to ALL your questions, but when you don't know how changing a ball valve size affects your overall drain size, then you're always going to be in the dark unless you TRULY take the time and effort to understand what you're undertaking.
