used nwb 110 or new sca-301?

how old is the 110? How big is your system? Whats your bioload? How big is the sump your putting one of these skimmers in? The swb has a much bigger footprint than the sca. Theres more info we need before we can give you straight answer. If it were me id buy neither because my system is too big for either, but if i did have a system that could use these i would go with the reef octo because i have the nwb-150 and i love the damn thing. But i have no experience with the sca skimmers so im going completely off of my small amount of experience with 8 different skimmers.

Thanks for the response. 45g cube with 20g sump. Sps dominated tank w/ 1 med size fish (low bioload). I have the sump space for either, just not sure which performs better.

nwb is rated for 75 gallons per brs so id go that route since you have 65 gallons and the sca is only rated for 65. Its good to go a little bigger than needed. i run the 150 on about 110 gallons total. its rated for 120 if you ask brs
