I was thinking of buy a new BRS 5 stage plus, but i found a reefer on here with a used BRS 6 Stage DELUXE RO/DI System for $200, is it ok to buy a used system, My tds is about 200 right out of the sink. Any feedback

Oh yah im buying it from nvdiz and hes says he bought it back in october 2012, and it has the 150 gpd upgrade,

Does your tap water contain chloramines? I think the six stage takes that out. If you don't have chloramines it's probably not worth it for the extra expense of filters/resin
The five stage you talk about is the same amount new. In my opinion that's what I would go with. It's what I have. Tds is over 120 coming in and 0 going out

chloramines and chlorine are 2 different things I believe, some places add it to the water.
