Vegetarian clown trigger?

Is it normal for a clown trigger to love herbivore food? It eats meat really but when I put romaine lettuce, it just goes crazy. Bite after bite even after his belly is fat/full. It doesn't touch nori.....maybe I just have the weird one from the bunch.

Triggers just love eating they pretty much eat any thing

I feed pureed carrots/broccoli/green beans every morning to all my tanks. 90% of all my fish eat them.

Triggerfish will bite and eat everything you put in the tank. My old picasso would destroy all my nori before my herbivores even had a chance to get to it.

my ct doesn't touch nori. Its kind of selective of the frozen food it eats too and as far as eating herbivore foods, it has only taken a like to romaine lettuce.

Its been a couple months lol maybe when he grows a few more inches.

Oh, I am not worried about him not eating. He eats really well. Just found it odd that a carnivore eating straight veggies.
