Ok so Saturday night I started washing a load and put in the dryer(lol) I went to bed and left the dryer running. I woke up in the morning to find the dryer still running, luckily it cools down when close to finish time and nothing happened. I guess the timer hand got stuck. Anyway the dryer isn't heating up and cause of that not working. Tried looking into it and checked some parts and could not find the problem. Anybody know a repair man in the NW burbs that might be on the cheaper side? or anyone know how to work this stuff on here? Thanks

How old is your home?
More so when was the last time the lint filter
and the vent line was cleaned out?
Your best bet would be to find a appliance parts store near you,
let them know whats going on they may have some parts or suggestions.
Or they should be able to give you someones # that they know and work with.
Good luck!!

Lint filter gets cleaned out every 2-3 loads. Home is about 40 yrs old. Vent line was clean. Went to a appliance place and they said all parts looked fine... ? Idk, I hope I don't need a new dryer! :a40:
