Anyone here have good tips on training a one year old to do water changes? I know my little girl would only be able to carry a half to a full gallon bc of the weight. She's really not busy during the day so it's okay for her to take her time doing them. I think I can make a game of her getting the salt out of the garage and doing the mixing but I think she going to have trouble with measuring it and reading the refractometer. And what have member's experiences been like with toddlers and ladders? She can reach the bottom tank no problem, it's the two top ones she'll have to use a ladder for. Or is it better to just teach her to climb up and stand on a chair?
And one last thing, I'm having a difficult time teaching her the pace for the water during drip acclimation. I'm singing nursery rhymes at a slower speed to try to train her but she just has the water going at regular song speed. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.
