hi james , welcome to forum , there are many ways you can do this , do you have a place to keep water storage tubs or bucket ? i have a sump room so i have a valve i turn which takes water from my sump and drains to my floor drain. then in my mixing bucket 20 gallons i have a couple pumps one with a hose that i just put into the sump and refill, wc takes maybe 2 min?never have to lift a bucket . now couple guys here habe automatic wc systems hopefully they chime in

and a mag12 or equivalent pump like a ehiem 1262. no more back aches from picking up a 5 gallon bucket full of SW 64" high.

I'm currently running a constant automatic water change system using the LitermeterIII. There are quite a few good write ups on it floating around the interwebs. Once I get my set up squared away I'll be doing a full write up myself.
