Weird Red Marks on Tusk? Help!

Bought this guy about a week ago.... Tail never had these red marks towards the front of the fish before... I think it is only on the tail. These are the best pics I could get of him. Any ideas?

Eating, swimming, little sluggish acting but I think that's just the Tusk personality...

I'm not saying I know what it is for certain, but often times red marks are a sign of bacterial infection.

I was going to say looks like a mild brooklynela...but that means hed be gone by now.

Bacterial would be my guess as well

Not sure what it is.....but wanted to compliment you on the nice pictures! It is refreshing to seeing someone ask for help and provide pictures of the problem that are such high quality!
