No clue what they are but they piss off the polyps. How do I remove whatever they are in a permanent fashion? I have picked them off with tweezers and they return.

When I first spotted it Puffer that's what I thought too. Due to the poor quality picture you cannot tell, but the little specs are are on "stalks" so to speak. They look like grass (not green though) going to seed on the ends.
FB I have already tried the peroxide dip with no results, that's why the plug is so clean.
I'll search more, they almost look like some sort of hydroid. I've been through so many pictures everything looks like them................
