Whats the most cheap and reliable powerhead..

Tunze
Aqueon
Coralvue
Koralia
Jbj
Oceanic

I think you get what you pay for. I usually go by reviews on the product online. There's plenty of them. I personally use Koralia and have never had issues. I have one MJ1200 and I cant wait to swap it out. Those suction cups are a PIA.

I have both JBJ oceanstream and a koralia. The jbj is a much wider, not so intense push in my opinion, because the output head is a a lot wider than the koralia, but they both work amazingly well. Pricepoint for wavemakers the jbj oceanstream is pretty much the best from what I can remember.

+1

id get some thing with magnetic attachs ...suction cup powerheads are pain in the B ... and will risk corals if fell off :(

koralias are good and tunzees are even better :D

what size tank are they going to be on ?

For me, cheap but good powerheads have been the old style koralias in the past (not the new, EVO ones, which all were crap). Besides that if you can find a good deal on used Tunze, get those. I have 3 Tunze 6045 and an MP40es. You do get what you pay for in this hobby.
