What's this coral?

The purple one, not the Miami chalice. It's got bright green spots. It's not a monti or a chalice. It started out encrusting but is beginning to grow upwards in the middle.

Still looks like a monti to me.... how do the polyps look? is it acro like or what?

They really don't come out from the coral at all, actually form tiny dimples where each green spot is. The skin feels almost like a LPS.

Yep, definitely a psamacora. With the close-up pic, you can see the hairy texture. Very nice. This would look cool if it were a branching psamacora.

yeah...def a psam. I had one just like it a few years ago. Its cool but not highly sought after unfortunately.
