Where's the best place to buy LED's or DIY LED Materials?

I'm looking to get back into the hobby and am thinking LED's. I'll be starting a 150 gallon within the next few months and am looking for the best place to buy LED's, what type to buy, or where to get DIY materials and how to's. Thanks.
 
I got my Par38s from Coral Compulsion butt they also sell fixtures. Jimmy is the proprietor and he's located in the Four Lakes Complex in Lisle. You should go by Reefwise too if you make the trip; they're across the street.
 
The highest quality DIY stuff would probably be ReefLEDLights, but that quality also comes at a price. Bill, the owner is a sponsor here. They sell binned high quality CREE diodes. RapidLED also sells CREE and has a premium line but I don't know if their chip selection is as controlled as ReefLEDLights. That being said, I did just put together a DIY with diodes from Rapid and love the way it looks compared to any of my "Chinese no-name chip" Par38/30 bulbs.
 
I know Bill from CMAS. I'll have to look him up when I'm ready to start. I'm trying to talk my husband into letting me set up the tank on the main floor instead of the basement. If I can't I'm going to have to wait until my daughter gets married and moved out. She's staying in the basement family room to save as much money as possible for a down payment on a house when she gets married (a date has not yet been set, so it could be a while).
