Which Pump: Too Much Flow?

I bought my 90g used & it came with the Pan World PX pump, 790GPH. I ordered a new sump from Will Lutman & Hubby thinks this would be a good time to purchase a new pump. I have had cyano problems & was thinking of going for a bit more flow. The Seaswirl provides all the flow-- I have no powerheads. I was thinking of the Pan World 100PX-X, 1200 GPH (which is only $2 more, BTW). What do you guys think? Will that blow all my corals off their rocks???
 
I'm running the Rio 17HF which is 1090gph in my 75 gallon. I do have it split off into dual returns though with quite a bit of angles, so I'm not sure how much actually makes it to the tank though.
