Will a ATI 36" cover my tank?

I want to purchase a 36" ATI 8 bulb 39 watt from a local seller and would like to know if this would cover my 36x36x30 cube. I keep SPS up top and clams and carpet nems on the bottom with LPS and softies inbetween.

not sure if this light will spread front to back of tank and punch all the way down. Any help would be appreciated

Now this might be tricky!!! It will cover the middle part but just not sure on the outer areas if hanged a certain height..

Just not sure about the depth part but if certain bulbs are used it should work

If it was a 24" tall tank I'd say no problem all day long, hang it up about 12-15 inches above water and your good. That extra 6" of height thou could reduce overall par at the sand and your clams might suffer. The nems I wouldn't worry about. I'd say it should be ok, but with caution on your clams might be iffy.

The front to back not going to be an issue, but you will have lower PAR on the edges, bigger problem is the 30" depth. Just like George said above ,T5's are real good up to 24" but you will notice significant drop off of light that deep. Keeping clams and SPS on the bottom might be a problem.

36" x 36" cardboard, light 34" off the ground.....

I just plugged them in and snapped the picture so it will get much brighter as well..... The splash lens could use a cleaning too I just get paranoid about scratching it. LOL
