Wiring ELN60-48

Yes these are the non-dimmable type. Can I assume these will wire up as the D version except for the dimmer control? Its 12 LEDs on a string and I have 2 strings, 2 drivers. I'm eliminating the chinese drivers and just going with the mean wells. Hey for $24 ea from Jameco, can't beat it..
thanks!

You wire them up just like the dimmables without the extra Dimmable wiring, you still need to adjust the potentiometer inside the drivers to the correct mA output for the string of diodes so you don't over drive them and burn them out.

So my multimeter only reads up to 250Ma.... I have a Reg amp/voltage meter that reads AC/DC V. can I still use one of these to set my drivers. I have this thing all ready to go but haven't plugged it in yet and dont want to go buy a meter for 3 minutes of use... cripes!

Use the regular Amp setting it will just read with the decimal point........ IE: 0.25a=250mA, If your looking for 1500mA it will read 1.5a
Also remember you have to read it in series, wired like it's one of the LEDs

Jeff, if it can wait til next weekend I can bring home our fluke from work and you can swing by with the light.

Oh, and always read mA on the amp channel, not the mA channel, usually the fuse for metering mA is only rated for 400-500mA and will blow out before you get it tweaked to what you need.

Let me ask this. with the string of blue(11) and a string of white(12), do I have to keep the driver at .75 or can I bump it up since I'm realistically only using 36v of the 48v capacity? I had pots on the other drivers and with those up all the way, it was blinding light but I didnt trust them up that high.

The blues by themselves might be toned down a bit but together with the whites, is a great mix and the color I wanted to achieve
