Zoa question

I have some zoa frags on plugs that have green hair algae growing on them. Will a freshwater dip get rid of the algae? Revive?

Agreed, a peroixide/SW dip should take care of the HA but still leave the coral alive (it might be pissed off for acouple days)

What's the mix of peroxide to SW? (for future reference)

I've done 4:1 SW to peroxide for 2 to 3 min, shake it, scrape it, then a pure SW dip for a min or so. Worked for me, but as Dan mentioned, don't expect the zoas to be happy about it

and was told to shake the frag till the polyps close before dipping them ...

4:1 or 3:1 sw to peroxide ratio should be fine
