Two very different lights. If you don't need the sunrise sunset, have you considered the Ocean Revive T247? Lots of people have had great success with this light.

If you are looking into that light I have one that is just like it but the reefbreeders version for sale used. I had it over my jbj 30 and it worked really well

Based on what I have heard from those who work on them is that these are manufactured from the same parts as the Evergrow and Reefbreeders. They look very similar to the group buy on the IT20xx series we got a few years back on here.
