Ok, here we go......FTS

I don’t have a pic under the hood, but I can update late. For now, here’s a partial shot as well as my reefing partner. She occasionally misses a spot on the glass and she’s not too good with a spoon as you can tell by her shirt.

Tank is a 210
Sump is a 40 breeder with custom baffles
Skimmer is Bubble Magus with big skim locker
Return is Ecotec M1
TLF reactor modded for biopellets
Pond matrix
Ocean revive light for frag growing area of sump
Apex
WAV Pump X 2
Gyre pump
2 Orphek V4 and 2 Orphek bars
Tunze 3171 calcium reactor
Carbondoser regulator
DIY ATO with Apex breakout box

I’m not that religious about parameters.
-I shoot for 8-9 alk
-I literally never measure calcium
-I shoot for 1350 mag, but almost never measure
-I shoot for about .03 PO4 but don’t sweat it too much
-I try get NO3 as low as possible, but my big fish and huge eel make this a real battle

I change about 45-90 gallons or water a month using reef crystals
I put a little kalk in my ATO to help PH
I use a CO2 scrubber with generic media from a veterinarian store
I run biopellets
I dose stuff (iodine, iron, coral vitalizer) randomly, but I’m not very consistent. Not sure any of it does anything. If you care to see my parameters in detail, I attached my recent ATI water test results.

120 gallon tank on DIY stand
40 breeder DIY sump
Nyos 160 Skimmer
4 pack Versa dosing pumps
Jebao 1200 return pump
Marine Pure bricks and spheres
Smart ATO with DIY reservoir
2 Gen3 XR15 Pro, 1 Gen4 XR30 Pro, 4 48" T5(2 ATI Blue+ and 2 ATI coral+)
3 MP40 and 2 Nero 5

Last test-8.9DKH, 400CAL, 1350MAG, 0.03PO4, and 2.5NO3

Twice a week corals get feed with Reef Roids and Fuel, and Red Sea Coral Colors once a week. 2 part is done with BRS 2 part mix. Water changes are not done that often, maybe 30 gallons a month with Red Sea Pro salt. Total of 17 fish getting fed via auto feeder 3 times a day while I'm at work, and I feed 1 cube of frozen and half sheet of nori daily too.

This system has been up since 9/17 but was switched to SPS in 8/19. I have a total of 47 different pieces and room for a few more. A grow out/frag tank will be plumbed in later this year.

Wiz’s seahorse station!

Elos Mini
20 gallon DT
10 gallon sump
Jebao return pump
Finnex Planted+ fuge light
JBJ Artica 1/15 Chiller
AI Hydra 52
Bubble Magus Skimmer w/ DC pump
Tunze ATO
IM biopellet reactor
Maxspect Gyre 130 w/Apex Module
Neptune Apex gold

Parameters:
Salinity: 1.025
Temp: 72-73
Rest I do not know nor care

I always wanted seahorses and a smaller, more manageable tank after my old 125 mixed reef. So I committed myself to them. Tank is setup exclusively for them with some cool stuff to compliment. Ponies are captive bred and very easy to raise. Also impossible to get a family picture unless they’re eating. Pics are post waterchange so pretty crispy lol

How is your calcium reactor “dosed?” What does that even mean?

Reservoirs: Trigger Systems Crystal 10g reservoir
Skimmer: Bubble magus Curve 5
Reactor: aqua max internal reactor w/ dice pump
