a new thread .. i am getting back in to SPS and thought the old thread is too confusing so why not start a new one and keep it going ..

Tank - 50 cube, Bare bottom
lighting - Radion G4 pro
Skimmer - Reef Octopus Essence S-130
Flow - 2 Gyre 230s and an MP10

oh what fun it is to watch the blue glow of salt mixing in the tank ..

On its way :)

Going bare bottom does feel a little awkward :)

And yes nems and shrooms will leave

Wait, you went from mixing salt to fish and nems in one day?
Yes im fast like that (flash)

Lol no ..
it is the same setup/rock i had from 4 years .. i just did a complete cleanup and 100 percent waterchange, got rid of sand and cleaned everything.

Haven’t done a water change in over a year just been filling ato and fish feeder :) nothing survived but those shrooms and
nems and 4 fish :) .. now will be doing 2 50% water changes over the next week and then sps test :)

Tin welcome back! My tank seems to have settled down so I’ll get your WD cut soon here.

I’ve still got your Vivids Rainbow too. It is just now starting to show some colors other than brown. Only took 2.5 years

oooooo vivids rainbow is one of a kind.. dont look at it too much or it will brown out again :), it takes years to color up fully and then one day to fully brown out

both test subjects, a bonsai acro and a paletta pink tip acro are doing well. nice PE and didnt loose color (bonsai is actually coloring up )
got my test kits today and oh well
Phosphate ( with Hanna checker ultra low range ) -- 200 ppb, i think thats the maximum it shows so have to do something about it .. may be another 30 percent water change and watch feeding ?
Alk - 11 dkh ( yep too high, just got my red sea blue bucket so water change would fix this )
Nitrate - 2ppm ( this is good)

Any pics of the Pink Tip? I've always liked that acro, but they're hard to come by out here.

Ryan @Rcunning8 had a ton of it and a lot others .. good husbandry too ...most importantly No Pests that i can see ;) haha
I'm still out in the burbs! I owe Ryan a visit; I always forget that he has this one. And pest free is always nice. :)
