hello All

i am contemplating ( 95% decided ) getting back into sps after a break of roughly two years :)
Tank has been running on auto pilot all this time and will be going thru an overhaul in the next cpl weeks.

now everyone has their favorites when it comes to SPS corals,
what are your three most favorite sps ? did you keep them ? is it easy or hard to grow/ keep them ..

ill start
1. Matt V Rainbow Envy - Hardy - i had it
2. RMF Psychoberry - Hardy - i had it
3. WCR Rainbow - super hardy - i had it

Pics are even better if you want

Im a huge fan of encrusting montis and montis in general. Superman, sunset and rainbows are my favorite. I had all of them as one point. Pretty easy to care for.

Mine are basic

Sunset montipora
Tyree red dragon acropora

I'm lucky to have pieces of all three growing currently

The high end SPS bug hit me hard so here's my list.

1. MattV Looney Tunes-Getting soon
2. RR Angry Birds-Hardy for me but read it can be difficult-Have It.
3. Any signature SBB corals-Dont have-Christmas gift to myself I'm thinking.

Sexy OP - This is my favorite tenuis...but for some reason, ive never owned it except for a month or so....I got it right before my house burned a few years ago.

Vivid Rainbow Delight- this is the coral that lets you know if you’re good at feeding or not. It looks like garbage most of the time, but if you can color it up, it’s absolutely beautiful. I have this now, and after two years, it’s starting to color up. I had some sexy colonies in prior tanks.

Icefire Echinata- Just great color and structure. I used to have a big colony of this....but lost it in the fire too.

If anyone has icefire or SCOP, I’d be up for purchasing or trading.

I forgot about icefire. Good call, and put me down for a frag too.

Icefire echinata
Purple monster
Oregon tort
ORA pearlberry

I bought a piece of the Tyree icefire echinata, but still waiting for it to color up to confirm.

Meanwhile, although I have 95% SPS in my tank, I thought this one has been looking nice. Bought it as a pink boobies and somehow it morphed into this.

This is a acro I have had for about 2 months and after coloring up it is my favorite it glows in blues and glows even more with the orange filter. I can’t wait till this piece grows into a colony EBDABCD3-4A9A-4FA8-8FCE-4E85A11EB3B8.jpegB27E7C2D-7AD3-4592-A7B1-069B6A5D3275.jpeg
