slow and steady wins the raceSo yea, my frag should have 4+ polyps by the end of the week! Who's keeping up with me?
I would expect the control polyp to win every time. You didn't have to acclimate. So yea, my frag should have 4+ polyps by the end of the week! Who's keeping up with me?
Yah, mine has only been partially opening for a week or two. I just moved it into higher flow and higher light to see what happens. I think we must have gotten the runts of the litter.mine hasnt opened in 9 days now
Rob, stop moving it around so much! It will adapt to most placement. 9 days isn't that long. Maybe finding a final spot that is high light, but med flow. Message it slowly, play music in background and lite a candle. That's how I coaxed mine open.i agree. i had mine in high flow high light so now im going low and shaded just to see
Except my polyp was only in the tank for a day before fragging, the same as like 16 other polyps i fragged the same day. Its not like the colony was in my tank for a month before the contest started. I even started with a damaged polyp that i couldn't hand out, so explain that one... ;-)I would expect the control polyp to win every time. You didn't have to acclimate.
