My Blood shrimp molted yesterday and normally I would let the molt dissolve in the tank. Today I was removing it and my small RBTA got a hold of it and would not let go. I don't know if I should even try to take it back or not.

If you look closely at the center you'll see a mysis shrimp head in the center. I think I might have to frag this soon to make sure the heads on bottom get more light.

Has someone used the old sand in their new setup? I'm talking about a same day move and setup in a new tank. Just a quick rinse or very thorough? Was there a mini cycle afterwards or any ill effects? I know running carbon is a good idea but any other tricks? TIA.

I saw this at lunch today and thought it was interesting. Two acrylic tanks plumbed together; each tank had four compartments. Each compartment was about the size of a 40G breeder. They were on top of a stainless steel cabinet that housed all the plumbing and a chiller I'm guessing.

I think I have a frag that is a cross breed. Seemingly pinker than Pom Pom normally is and the motion is more like Pulsing Xenia. Pic has crossbreed in front with "regular" Pom Pom in the background.
