So I'm in the process of setting up a calcium reactor. I picked up a MRC Nano a while back and I'm finally getting it running. My question is, should the flow inside the reactor be up through the media, or should it be pushing down on it?

I'm setting up my tank after a move. I've got a 1 1/2" bulkhead that I just can't get snugged down. Does anyone have a wrench for this, or know where I can find 1? Thanks.
