Well, I recently picked up a biocube and I am wondering whats the best way to configure the filtration chambers. As of now I have 20 lbs of live sand, 15 pounds of live rock, and 15 pounds of base rock. As far as livestock goes, I have a Seahorse and a yellow watchmen/pistol shrimp pair. Corals consist of some gsp, daisy polyps, mushrooms, zoas, xenia, and a small toadstool. In the first chamber is a heater and a biocube skimmer. 2nd chamber is empty. Only filter floss at the top. 3rd chamber obviously is the return pump and purigen. I am sure there is a much better way to go about this. Any advice is greatly appreciated. Thanks.
