Here's my project I've been building for 5 years 1927 for sedan with a big block mopar and 6 speed trans I started with nothing but a body
Very nice and clean. Did you do all the chooping of the bodywork too? Based on seeing the metal roller I'd think yes. I probably don't want to know how many hours it took to channel it and build all the floor pans... Still a couple more years of work before it's done?

I did not do the chop by my self I got a guy that helped me I did build the floor in the car but the guy that helped me with the chop has done 90% of the work I just don't have much time to do any of it with my job I am bout 1 more year out almost all fabrication is done, I'll have the car back in my hands by spring of next year to start all the wiring and plumbing then tare it all apart for paint

Nice job. it's a lot of work and even more money. Should be a nice looking ride and from the looks of the parts, a good driver for a long time to come.

It definitely hasn't been cheap I have about 25 K wrapped up into it already and probably another 15 to finish my goal is the have it done for 2017 world of wheels

I totally understand. Just the EFI and electronic fuel pump for my build is over $3k. I'm scared to total up the total build cost of just a motor. Custom work gets crazy expensive.

Warning, you may not want little ones to see this...

The more pornographic pic to date, the bump stick! Comp custom ground and nitrided this for the build. Can't wait to stick it home. RPM range is very low at 1200-5200, but it gets to making power quick. Peak torque estimate is 421ftlbs at 3K and HP peaks right at 5K. Cam card in second pic for details. It should also play nicely with the atomic EFI as it should have good vacuum.

With this making the motor breath, I'm pretty sure I'll be able to keep right up with a older series stock mustang GT, or a stock dakota R/T. Almost identical curb weight to the GT but I've got more tire and more torque. Should be a good run unless I blow something in the driveline up trying. Not to mention mine is a whole lot more fun off road :D

Josh just put a supercharger on it you go fast than.
I like the idea, but I like my reef better. I'd have to get out of reefing, sell everything and then still be short of money to rebuild the entire jeep to handle that much power. somthing like this....

Rollmaster-ROMAC billet adjustable timing set, crazy overbuilt. Austrialian machined steel gears (+8 to -8 adjustable) and German made chain. The chain feels of something from a good quality watch band albeit a lot heavier.

Cam timing set to 106.5 deg centerline and cam card spec'd it at 106

Been a while since I've had time to make real progress. It's now true AMC engine Blue (more of a teal or seafoam as compared to a blue...) :D

First in primer, then painted and finally with the parts it'll go into the jeep with. My wife said it looks pretty, I almost stopped painting it once she spoke up. It made me question what I was doing, how can a performance motor be "pretty"? LOL
