Anyone using Evergrows/Reefbreeders LEDs?

Just curious what you max out your lights at, and how high above the tanks are they?

My tank has no SPS in it, but is there a good way to know if they are too high up or not set high enough for even my LPS?

What type of LPS?

I have mine running on a shallow tank and had them running on a 180g beforehand. I did check my PAR on the shallow..

My light is currently super high I only wanted to use one over my 48" x 24" tank. It is about 30" above the water level and going through a glass cover.

At water level at 100% I get 250 PAR. Just below water level, I get 220 PAR. If I move to the edges of the tank (light is centered), it flows between 100-150 PAR.

Since I have mostly Acans, I keep them at around 70-100 PAR. Some of mine have turned red and I hear that is due to too much light (AHHHH) so I may move them in the shadows of the rockwork to see if they will recover their color!

GL - I'm still learning and trying to figure out what is best for my Acans!

have the photon 32 with 120 optics on my standard 75. had the lights for a year but upgraded the tank this past summer. my lights peak at 30% around 4pm. lights hung about 15" above tank. keep softies, lps and sps. i have to keep my brain, plate, acans, duncans, hammer and frogspawn on the sides of the tank. there they seem to keep their color and grow pretty nice. again this is a 48" tank with a 32" light. so the sides are not lit up too much. my sps seem to be ok, but i like lps more.

So are yours at 100% power then?

I have two photon16s over a 75g tank, so 48" x 18", with it being about 21" tall.

The coverage is great, and my softies grow great, but a lot of my LPS, namely plate corals, some frogspawn, they don't do super great in the tank. I believe I have my intensity get up to about 40/50% but only for like 2-3 hours, the rest of the day it ramps up and down.

Nope, I just got those readings from 100% so I know how to gauge it. My blues get to a max of 40% and white a max of 10% for my LPS and ramp up and down for the remainder of the day also. Since I'm on such a shallow tank I have to be careful!

I'll have to double check what my lights are set at. I know I don't have the blues super high compared to the whites because I actually prefer the more natural sunlight look compared to being excessively blue.
