Anyone using Zeolites in their Reef? How did you start/What were the results?

I'm considering adding zeolites to my tank in the form of AF Zeomix. I do not want to start high and strip my water too low, but curious on how others implemented their Zeolites and what the results were.. Any lessons learned would be of great help!

I ran Fauna Marin's system with zeolite or whatever they wanted to call their rocks for some time with good results but ultimately found the dosing that went along with it too time consuming. Results of water quality were just as good with occasional GFO / carbon use as needed, skimming, and water changes, all things I was doing anyway, so I stopped. I did continue to dose bacteria after stopping the full system but live rock provides a good enough medium for the colonization, imo, zeolites not needed just for that. Was your plan to just run zeolites or also dosing other products?
