are my 12" led strips good enough for my 10gl

i have 2 12" led strips one is white/with blue the other is all white think im going to buy another strip but not sure what colors work the best i think there only 1 watt they look kind of small.:confused:
 
Names please, that info doesn't tell us anything. Many led strips can be chained to a single power supply.

I have these same strips. They sell them at Tropiquatics in Lombard also. LEDs are 1 watt each. As for are they good enough? Depends on how many you have and what you keep under them. I have 3 two foot strips over my 20L frag tank, and I have primarily softies and LPS, with a couple hardy SPS like monti caps and birdsnest. Great growth on everything. They work pretty well, but I would recommend 3 of those 1 foot strips for a 10 gallon, with a 1:1 blue to white ratio. Should be able to keep most things under that.
 
I have the same 12" strips bought from robs aquatics.. No name no nothing... I got one blue stip and one white on a ten g .... Colors are great growth is great... Transferring everything from the ten g to 40 g and going to double if not triple the light ... But I have no clue to the name or brand of these.. I will take pics tomrw I am also interested if anyone else has more info ...
 
yea they are 1watt each have one all white and one white and blue just bought a moon light with balasic for 25 bucks for my 2 hour sun set sun rise going to see if my 2 strips are good if not i can add another one think im going to add a violet and magneta strip for all colors thanks all for your imput:loco::loco::loco:
