coral ID please

hi, i just got a shipment of corals in and they added some in that im not to sure what they are or how to place them in the tank, what is the top or bottom. any help would be great thank you!

kinda looks like galaxia frag but im not really sure until u place them under some light and they open up

I agree that the polyps look like galaxea, but that isn't how galaxea grow. It is more encrusting with "pods" of polyps in a skeleton crust over rock.

This is like a stick. Weird.

I will be interested to see what it looks like when open.

+1 euphyllia LPS frogspawn, hammer/anchor or torch coral- i would keep it in substrate polyp up till it bounces back...

I would do medium flow and decent light, should be ok.
