Might as well take a moment and introduce myself.

As the title and my username so quietly speaks, my name is Gary and I started my reefing hobby in Florida. I've since moved for a job just over 13 months and and when I moved my tank got some chips so I threw it in the trash. Seriously, just tossed it from the uhaul into the dumpster.

I've since got the inch that we all do after leaving the hobby. I've got a new 28g hqi Nano Cube. I live in Lake Shore east and plan to have my old corals shipped from Florida to here.

I also used to run a local club in Florida and we did a lot of fund raising for a local teacher/hobbyist. My tank is still getting water in it. I have to haul them from the store to my building. :)

Anyways, glad to have the opportunity to join such a fine club.

Welcome! You'll love Illinois/Chicago! We have, uhh... Well, your tax dollars are more likely to go to corrupt politicians than in any other state!
 
Thanks for the welcome. I was expecting to come to the forum with maybe one response. :)

I moved here Last Nov so this is my second winter. This is also about the time where I become a little angry 24/7 for a few months. Stupid cold, no ocean, crazy taxes, and to top it off, no car here!

I'm the same way! watch out, crazy Eric will be emerging for a few months until vaca! haha

I stare at beach pictures all day in my office and have a sun lamp... it helps.... some :blink:
 
i do the same sit back look into tank and get a tan from these halides which are hot gotta nice burn yesterday welcome to the forum
