Help Setting up Reef Keeper

Hello All,

Anyone have any experience setting up a reefkeeper and would like to help out a fellow reefer? ...also willing to work for a case of beer? haha. But really, I am at a loss with this thing.
 
I dont know anything about reefkeeper but borrowed this info.

What u trying to do? I set mine up
 
If you bring it over, we can set it up here. All you will need to do is re-set the time once home..

You have the RKL or RKE?
 
i have a reefkeeper lite. it was definately a pain to set up. I am Also out in Aurora. let me know when you have time and i cant swing by and help out.
 
I set up my RKL 2 weeks ago. Took me about 30 minutes to get everything I wanted set the way I wanted it. I thought it was really easy. Just had to use google to figure out what a few settings meant.
 
Wow, a lot of responses! I did a little research online and the videos I found were not the greatest. I have the RKE with a few float switches i wanted to hook up. I set the thing up to my computer and I'm not sure if the software didn't install right, my computer sucks, or I just became extremely dumb but I am lost! haha.

Jason, as you are extremely close, I would definitely be up for that. Plus meeting a fellow local reefer may be helpful in case of a tank emergency! Let me know if you are free Friday afternoon/evening or weekends generally work but I am visiting family this weekend.

If you are trying to update the modules it sounds strange but click on the minimize button and it will let you update each module. If you don't minimize the screen then you won't be able to update it. Also make sure when you are updating each one that it is the only one connected to your computer at the time or it won't work
