How to give a reefer a heart attack.

1) Have the reefer be in downtown Chicago, 1 hour from his 7th floor apartment.
2) Have the reefer own a 150g aquarium in said apartment.
3) Leave a fast speaking voicemail saying that smoke detectors in his apartment are all going off and they need to enter the apartment immediately to make sure everything is ok.
4) After he misses your first call, be away from the office phone and miss the returning call.
5) Have him check his apex controller online status on his phone only to find out that it is unreachable, which rarely if ever happens.
.....
...

Only to have him call back a second time a minute later and find out that one of the smoke detectors was out of battery and you replaced the battery for him and everything's fine....
Sigh.

Does your building allow a tank volume that large?

Glad nothing actually happened, and glad you didn't land yourself in the ER. Why wasn't the APEX on line though?

I'm glad that everything is ok. I had a 300 gallon tenecor on the 23rd floor of the harbor house @ 3200 N. LSD and the floors were rated at 1000lbs a square foot.
