It's official, PZ is now a Chicago Reefs Sponsor. Some of you already know about this oddball zoa business, but for those who dont here's a primer.
Who- Travis. Age 34. Grew up in IL, went to ISU, moved back from AZ after 10 yrs. Wife. Kid. Zoa bizness. My background is in graphic design and healthcare. I've been zoa-obsessed for the last 3-4 years. Just ask my wife, she will tell you about all the times I've claimed to have palytoxin poisoning.
What- Planet Zoa boasts the largest selection of collector zoas/palys on the web. We are known for careful shipping practices, cool promotions, and a 7-day open polyp guarantee. I've collected somewhere in the ballpark of 300 morphs over the years, and have made many of them available to the public.
When- Originally started to fill demand from other hobbyists in Spring 2012, it quickly mutated into the zoa hungry beast that it is today.
Why- Basically, PZ is made by a collector, for the collector. It's very elite. When I frag, I stick my pinky out.
How- Many late nights! If you message me and I sound weird, Im not drunk, just sleep deprived!
Here's the exciting part...now that Im in Illinois, shipping is cheaper (to anywhere) and shipping in state is even cheaper still. So what would have cost $60 in Fedex charges before is now only $30. Enter the coupon code INSTATE to get $10 off shipping when you order.
Also, I often make trips upstate, so we can always set up some kind of shadowy, back alley exchange. It's just coral, Officer, I swear!
Im not set up as a retail walk-in (yet), so Planet Zoa HQ visits will require a vetting process and no selling can occur at my home for legal reasons.
For reading all of this, you get some eye candy-
