So all of your information is "here-say" and long outdated personal experiences? I don't remember seeing anything in the place in recent history being sold as "A Grade" livestock, and the prices sure as heck don't reflect that either.
If you have a problem with a wholesaler selling to public customers, thats your decision not to shop there. Their policies are clearly stated at the front of the store long before you even make it to where all the livestock is at. I personally feel it is a fair trade-off to save a significant amount of money on a fish knowing there is no return policy due to the type of business they are, I enjoy the fact that I can go in there, look around at what they have, and buy something after being able to look it over with my own eyes. There is no arm-twisting or bullying sales tactics, and if you discuss your system with them, they are more than happy to tell you whether something is a good fit for your tank or not.
I'm confused about all this "secret" stuff that is being brought up, the company is very easily found on the first try searching goggle. The website is very straightforward, they even publish BOTH their operating locations on the site and plenty of contact information. Heck, they even advertise deals on Craigslist to get more customers to come check out the place. Does not sound like a very big secret to me. As far as local fish stores, I would be very skeptical to think any of them are unaware of this place, and have no doubt that some of them even buy their livestock thru this place.
I'm sorry if you do not agree that I like this place, but if you are trying to make me look like a bad guy for NOT badmouthing them by bringing my name into your post and making this discussion personal, then I truly feel sorry for you. I am just being objective to the discussion at hand, while it seems that the same person(s) want to just cut the place down by bringing up out-dated and secondhand information.
