MP-40 "Popping"

lol, how'd u figure out what mode you're running then! when i first got mine, i'm like, wtf are these colors... and how do i do feed mode, and how to i set night mode? 5 mins with the manual, done.
 
adjusted spacer... aligned the wetside perfectly...no such luck...i honestly think its debris or something hitting the glass thats what it sounds like at least
 
thats weird... idk, might just have to hear it in person or a video... maybe this strong flow is making something in your tank hit the glass? Like a thermometer or a temp prob or another powerhead? U sure the sound is coming from the pump?
 
the sound is coming from the general side of the mp-40 but im not sure its coming from the pump...sry just so paranoid abt the thing
 
Going to have to make a video so we can hear it. I've had vortechs since my first aquarium, and its hard to troubleshoot without a video with audio hearing it.
 
Erik, hopefully you can get it sorted out tonight. If you can't I could ride my bike over tomorrow and we could try to figure this out... Good luck!

Just let it run overnight... My mp40 is the same way... makes the stupid sqeeks and goes away... this could be your quirk. lol. but it works for me so far...
 
hmm when it goes low zero popping when it gets higher it starts up popping..thats why i think debris cause it sounds like its coming from back wall then side wall then front all different places and different times
