Some of the DW is Mopani wood that you can get at the pet store. Some of it is some I got from a guy in downstate IL that collected from a local river. Pretty any piece of natural wood can be turned into driftwood. Just have to bake it and soak it.

Check the woods. If you do get something like that, just be sure to strip the bark off. Or, if you have any lakes or ponds by your house, that works too.
