Sorry if this question has already been answered, I really just don't know how to even search for it but...
I know all wrasses are born female and go through 2 phases - Initial and Terminal phase. If you get a wrasse in initial phase and there are no other wrasses available in the aquarium, can they turn supermale automatically or stay at initial phase, or what?
Or I guess the real question is, how do you make an initial phase wrasse into a terminal phase supermale? i suppose other wrasses have to be around for this wrasse to prohibit their "ascension" into becoming the dominant male?
