Replaced Glass lids with screen - decrease light for acclimation?

So I removed my glass lids and added a screen (BRS clear 1/4"). I know I increased par, but unsure by how much.

Thoughts on needing to decrease the time my lights are on full for?

6 bulb T5 and I cannot raise any higher.. 16" off water surface on a 12" shallow tank.

I would decrease the photo period. I bet the par went up by at least 25 percent

I would lower the intensity the glass lids do block out alot of the intensity from the light imo.
