Man, that sucks BIG time.... Results will be negative for sure.. Had the same issue with my 2nd daughter toes..

My wife liked to eat her feet making her smile, some how her hair was tangled inbetween her toes which cut the circulation for unknown hrs or days.. But things worked out to the best. You will be amazed with the meds these days.

Keep us posted and cheer up ;)

Hope everything works out man. DEFINITELY get a second opinion from a specialist before anything drastic is done. I'm assuming you took him to the ER, which is fine, but generally you won't get a specialist to see you in the ER.

Sorry to hear and don't worry. Have faith! Everything will be ok. Just like Ted said, get a second opinion and even maybe a third. Chear up!

IV antibiotics can do wonders, give them a chance. Also, unless they are hand doctors, don't take their word as bible. You'd be surprised how little Pediatricians know about other specialty like orthopedics and Infectious diseases.

Make sure it is a second opinion from a hand specialist. There is no chance the baby got a hand in the tank right?
