SPS At The Aquarium Extravaganza Show 2018

WCR Rainbow was a hand picked wild Australian piece from on of our suppliers. We split the colony and shortly after that the supplier had a system crash and lost it, so this lineage is the last of it floating around. It likes to be BAKED. It sat in just inches of water underneath a 400w MH radium bulb. It should be high up in your tank under MH or good LED to get its potential.

I’m contemplating setting a tank back up... if I do I need a piece shipped to me :) Glad to see my stuff still out there.

Gunner yep i had this and this my fav in all of the tank and is hardy as it can be :) i didnt frag it much as i am foolish enough to think i would never loose it and let it grow grow :)

but yes Sonny [MENTION=921]Raising Reefs[/MENTION] has a huge one of it and its beautiful :)

if i do get into sps which is not so very likely it would be one of the first few pieces that i would get.

on a side note .. WCR French B1tch is the only one that rivals its colors, is also of same colors but a tabling acro that gets bluish shade under right conditions.
 
Eric thanks for the response. I was really surprised that you responded to our request on the history of this piece. Eric you know this piece better than any of us. You have to blast this piece under a lot of light to get the bright red out of it. I currently have it to the side under my 400 watt 14k halide.

Take a frag if it and put it right under your MH at the top of the tank. You’ll start to see the blue and green come out while the polyps and corallites staying bright red. If it really gets baked, in the right conditions, you’ll see some slight purple around the corallites as well.
