How long does DI resin last you?

I do 60-100 gallon water changes and then make 100 more gallons in 2-3 days. Sometimes I get 2-4 weeks only but I make 4-500 gallons from it in That time. IMO this can only be gauged by gallons.

I degas as well with an air bubbler. Increased the life of my DI by 10x.
Can you explain how you degass? I just built a degassing chamber that is 4ft high, but it keeps overflowing from the top faster than gravity is draining it through the DI.

ok with the last batch of DI resin I got from BRS for my 4 stage it lasted about 100 gallons. I don't know what is going on. This has happened twice. I can normally get about 300+ gallons before seeing 1 TDS but now its like 100 gallons. Is the water treated differently in Chicago when it's cold or getting cold? I mean I don't pack my resin as tight as I normally do
but that's the only thing that has changed.

Not sure how this impacts TDS, but I know low temp water does lower the throughput of the ro membrane.

I don’t track it too closely, but I probably get 500 gallons or more on city water. I recently added a second DI canister so I can completely deplete one without the risk of making bad water. That reminds me... I think I’ll whip up 45 gallons now and do a water change tonight. I love how happy my corals look for a few days after a water change.

How many stages do you have 4, 5, 6 or 7? Maybe it's time for me to step up my game with a 5 stage.
