so after seeing chris's cooking thread ive decided to some what do the same with some rock i got. im not going to cook it as long maybe a month now instead of putting food in with the rock after i add bacteria couldnt i just dose with vodka? im just trying to feed the bacteria wouldnt vodka do...

so my skimmer doesnt really foam up and there is very little skimmate and its almost clear could this be bc i really dont have anything in the tank yet.. i have 5 snails 3 hermits and a couple coral frags. or do i just need to get a better skimmer
