Run carbon and gfo....20 gallon be careful not to overuse. Should help with hair algae. Blue star polyps ...some people get lucky with butterfly fish ...good luck

Do you use carbon and GFO ? May want also up the water changes and when you get water levels low yank the algae. I had both blue star polyps and a bout of algae. I had a high nutrient tank as I loved coral growth that came with it...but so do nuisance pests.

I would be careful using the dewormer method. I recall that it could kill shrimp and other beneficial critters in your tank. I was stared clear by an expert at the coral show...wish I could remember his name but he is a saltwater fish author. Btw I never beat Blue star nightmares

Ok I was curious if anyone here who does not dose vodka/vinegar has traded/sold whatever coral to someone who does. I would say my tank is on the higher nutrient side, and zoas I sold to someone melted. To me it seems the change to an immaculately clean water tank with vodka dosing and bio balls...

I have mushrooms growing in my tank and I have heard they will burn corals. I actually see one burning some xenia----so the shrooms gotta go. I heard kalk with a needle injection in the shroom......I don't use kalk so anyone else have other suggestions ? Appreciate it.

Hey guys/gals...I have 3 big Peppermints ,2 Skunk cleaners and a small Pistol (not sure if he is still alive-never see him) in a Bio Cube. I was going to move them all in a 75g but I am worried the six line (2 1/2") might chow down. I have tons of rock-but the Wrasse flies thru it like a bat out...
