I keep nitrates no higher than 5 and phosphates at 0.03 to 0.06 and sps look good. Everyone has their target range you have to see what works best for you.What level nitrate should keep for SPS

I dont even test for it i found it to be unimportant only test alk and calcium refugium does the rest0.1 to .5 is high..I thought 0.07 and under...

NewB, I am not sure your tank but my tank need raise up the NO3 a little..I mean Ats
Ira, I scare to put something strange in my tank..I try to put skimmer on timer and feed little more...let see if it work...I read somewhere that dosing nitrate is not a long term solution.
