So I was in reefwise couple weeks ago, empty!!! However, Mike, previous owner, said he had just sold and was staying on as a consultant. He said the store would back up to its high standards in the very near future.
I hope so. This place had some nice stuff

I re-added them to the list. If it wasn't for the fact I already have 3 yellow tangs and I lost my job, their black friday special for the captive-raised purple tangs looked super tempting.

I stopped in there today, since I was in the area. Talked to Gus for a few minutes. He used to be a customer of Reefwise years ago, and bought it with his partner Mike. This Mike, is not the same Mike as the one that used to work with Brian. They just bought the store like a week ago, but he sounds like he has a lot of things planned.

I have not, but if you can get me the store information I can definitely go check it out. It's not super far from me.

 

It’s on Higgins between Harlem and nagle I will check to see if I can find name of it

A new store opened in Barrington called Fish Island. They do both freshwater and saltwater. Currently they just have fish, CUC, and dry goods. Coral tanks are coming soon.

 

I thought I should add Nick's Reef in Carol Stream. Been getting excellent deals. Tell him Hector sent ya!
