As title says I purchased a BMT3000 PAR reader that hooks directly to my lap top. First let me say EASY setup and use. Within 10 minutes of opening the box I was getting PAR readings.
I have (4) LED fixtures with (32) CREE blue and (31) CREE white. With the whites on alone at 100% I get a reading of 256 15" down in the tank. With the blues and whites on at 100% I get a reading of 490 and with the whites cut back to 55% the reading goes to 407 and at 45% it goes to 364
Do the readings look correct?
The 407 number (if correct) should be more then enough to support "any" light loving LPS?
I know I have left lots of details out that you might ask for but just looking to see if this passes the "sniff" test.
Thanks
Jim Mc
